Knitted sisal flower
This useful, sustainable and biodegradable body sponge from the natural fibre agave is made to last long and lather up with any kind of soap or shower gel. Just rub any soap on the flower and use it for scrubbing away dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling clean and fresh. It is stain and mould resistant, absorbent, dries easy, keeps its shape and can be washed again and again at high temperature.
Once you have finished washing rinse your flower sponge and hang it up to allow it to drip dry.
Sisal is a species of Agave native to southern Mexico but widely cultivated in many other countries, and yields a stiff fibre used in making various products. The sisal plant has a 7–10 year life-span and typically produces 200–250 commercially usable leaves. Each leaf contains an average of around 1000 fibres.
